Questions about Certified Translations

A certified translation is an original translation performed by a qualified translator which includes an Affidavit of Accuracy signed by a qualified translator, in which the translator who performed or verified the translation affirms having read the completed translation, that the entire document has been translated, that nothing has been omitted or added, and that the translation is true and correct.

Our certified translations are inserted in our letterhead which bears the logo of ATA - American Translators Association, the stamp of the office and the signature of the translator. We can include a signature of a notary on the Affidavit of Accuracy.

Yes. Our translations are performed by qualified translators, and we follow the standards required in the United States for a certified translation. Actually, our translations are accepted by any US government entity or educational institution.

Most of the time, a document that is composed of up to 3 pages can be completed in 24 hours. For exact completion time please contact us.

In order to perform the translation we don't need your originals. We need a nice image of your document. You can send the document to us in any of the following ways:

We will always e-mail you the translation as a PDF file. The following mailing options are available:

  • Mailing via Priority Mail - Free of charge - it takes approximately 3-4 days to arrive to its destination.
  • FedEx overnight or Express mail are available upon request for an additional charge.
Yes. You can take a nice high-resolution picture and e-mail it to us to: mail@translation-bbt.com
We never share your files or personal information with anyone outside of BBT Translation Services. The files are visible only to the professionals who have signed strict confidentiality agreements. If you'd like us to delete your files, just let us know.

We accept payment through PayPal. We do not store your credit card information. In order to pay for a translation, we will send you a link to process payment through PayPal.

Even if you don't have a PayPal account you can still use your credit card using the PayPal link. You will have the option to pay by signing in to your account or using your credit card.

There is no need to come to our office. We are an internet translation agency based in Orlando, Florida. Our orders are delivered via e-mail and First Priority Mail. You can p lace your order at your convenience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In general a translation of one page document such as a birth certificate or marriage certificate is $45 per document. The price includes a notary signature on the Affidavit of Accuracy and mailing via Priority Mail free of charge to any US address. (There is additional charge for international mailing.)
